Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public access to many court and government records, but the route depends on the record. In Gem County, District Court handles felonies and larger civil matters, while Magistrate Court handles misdemeanors, infractions, small claims, family law, probate, guardianships, conservatorships, and name changes. Court access is shaped by Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32, and non-court county records follow Idaho Code 74-102, 74-103, and 74-104. Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
